Green Post Box Ireland Wall Art Dublin Print cured meats Selarón began renovating dilapidated stepsBefore 1922 while Ireland was under British rule the country's postboxes were pillar red like their UK counterparts. But when the Anglo Irish Treaty was signed in 1922 they were painted green to hide the reminder of colonialism. To this day they remain the same colour and style. This particular postbox is in South William Street in Dublin City Centre. Captured in January 2023.
